YCP MLA Vasantha Venkata Krishna Prasad from Mylavaram has once again caused controversy with his comments. Vasantha has been critical of internal affairs within the YCP in Mylavaram and has accused many leaders of plotting against him.
In his recent comments, Vasantha accused certain YCP leaders of forming "Chaddi gangs," "belt batches," and conspiring to weaken the party in the constituency. He urged the YCP cadre to stay away from these leaders.
Vasantha made these comments at a bank inauguration in Velluturu, and also recalled an incident where a leader called him, mistaking him for a village level leader. He revealed his identity after the whole conversation and said that such things are happening within the party and could cause more damage. His latest comments using terms like "Chaddi gang" and "belt batches" to refer to YCP leaders have caused embarrassment for the party. The high command may take action against him in the near future.
