There is currently a lot of talk about a potential cabinet expansion in YCP. Reports suggest that Jagan Reddy is considering adding several new powerful ministers to his cabinet, even if elections are called early.

There are rumors that the expansion could happen in just a few days, with at least half a dozen new ministers joining and some of the old ministers being removed from their positions. It is said that there is a discussion about whether all seven of the non-performing ministers will be removed or just five or six of them.

There are also rumors of significant changes to the departments of existing ministers, with three or four names from the Godavari districts being mentioned as potential removals, including Home Minister Taneti Vanitha, Daishetti Raja and Venugopala Krishna of Pinipe Vishwaroop. It is said that three of them will definitely be removed.

Two ministers from Rayalaseema and one from Uttarandhra are also rumored to be on the chopping block. There are reports that Deputy Chief Minister Narayanaswamy, Gummaluri Jayaram and Sidari Appalaraju may be among those removed, with Speaker Tammineni Sitaram taking his place.

Reports suggest that this time around, political needs rather than social mobilization will dictate the composition of the ministerial group and departmental allocations. There is talk of key leaders from the Godavari districts and Greater Rayalaseema being given important responsibilities.

It is also rumored that the Home Minister position will be given to a capable key leader, as this election is particularly crucial and Thota Trimurthulu could be the choice. Additionally, senior ministers are expected to be entrusted with key departmental responsibilities.
