It is known that Andhra Pradesh (AP) CID officials interrogated Ramoji Rao, the head of Margadarshi Chit funds, regarding alleged illegal investment of chit holders' deposits in other companies and non-payment of the owner's share in chit, among other charges. The CID officials in Hyderabad have already questioned him, and Margadarshi CMD Sailaja is scheduled to be interrogated on April 6.
In this context, the head of Janasena Party, Nagababu, has expressed his support for Ramoji Rao. Nagababu described this as harassment of Ramoji Rao, who brought revolutionary changes in Telugu media and created job opportunities for thousands of people, as outrageous. He further criticized the campaign against Ramoji Rao on social media and released a statement condemning the accusations against him.
He added that Padmavibhushan Shri Ramoji Rao brought revolutionary development in the Telugu media and film industry, provided livelihood to thousands of people in the business sector, earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records in the field of art and brought Telugu world fame. He is a model for millions of people.
He also stated that it is unfortunate that the accusations against him, which were not there in the last 60 years, were raised only after the YCP came to power. Nagababu of the Jana Sena has issued a statement saying that Ramoji Rao, who is over eighty years old, has been harassed by his family in the name of investigation.
