The YSRCP, which achieved a supermajority in the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections with 151 seats, aims to win all 175 seats in the upcoming state election, thereby restricting the opposition parties to zero seats. The party's ambitious goal has made it campaign aggressively, with its legislators meeting people as part of the door-to-door campaign. Party leaders are busy explaining the schemes that the government has implemented and pasting "Jagananna Mana Bhavishyath" stickers, which have become popular among the masses.
The sticker campaign has received a positive response, leading to other political parties adopting the same strategy. To ensure the success of their campaign, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is also expected to tour the districts in the state, starting in May. The tour will cover all the districts, with Jagan holding big meetings to connect with the masses.
The ruling party cannot take any chances as the election is only a year away. Staying in the middle of the public helped YSRCP in the last election, leading to its victory with a supermajority. The party aims to repeat the same strategy for the next election.
