YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy distributed pattas to over 50,793 eligible poor women in Venkatapalem village in Guntur on Friday.
Thousands of people flocked to the village to attend the event. The public looked extremely happy at the deeds being done by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Speaking to the public there, the Chief Minister has made it clear that the pattas to be given to the poor beneficiaries are going to be in the names of women only.
Calling the women of AP his elder sisters, he ensured that Rs 2 lakh crore to Rs 3 lakh crore of wealth was kept aside for the women here. Furthermore, we are also distributing 5,000 Tidco houses along with house plots. We are constructing 5,000 houses in the CRDA area with a government expenditure of Rs 400 crore.
We have given 30 lakh house pattas even during COVID. We have implemented every promise in the Navaratna Manifesto. We have implemented 98 percent of the promises given. In these four years, we have provided welfare schemes without corruption or discrimination. We have provided Rs. 2.11 lakh crore directly through DBT. With non-DBT, a total of Rs. 3 lakh crore has been provided. We have deposited Rs. 2.11 lakh crore in the accounts of our sisters, he explained to the public.
