Popular actor and comedian Saptagiri, who rose to fame with movies like Lovers and Prema Katha Chitram, among others, expressed his love for TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and his wish to join the party. Speaking at an event in Tirupati, Saptagiri made it official that he will soon be joining the TDP. Saptagiri has declared that he is ready to contest from the Chittoor constituency. Hailing from Chittoor district, he revealed that he was born in a government hospital.
Having come from a poor family, Saptagiri shared that he knows the hardships of the poor and will take advantage of any small opportunity to serve them. He said that he has already received offers to join the TDP. He revealed that he will give clarity on his political debut in the next 10–15 days.
The actor further shared that he is ready to do whatever the party chief Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh want and do his best to bring the TDP to power, and if the party orders him, he will also participate in the election campaign across the state. He said that everyone has seen the development of TDP leader Chandrababu. The people of this state need Chandrababu now.
The way he worked hard for movies, he promised to work equally hard for the welfare of the public. Meanwhile, Saptagiri also clarified that, despite joining politics, he will not leave making films.
