CM Jagan takes on corruption at Govt Hospitals. AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is known as a tough administrator. He will not tolerate any discrepancies and acts swiftly punishing those who fail to serve the people or those who try to loot people. Now CM Jagan who conducted a health review meeting in the state, came up with tough measures to crack down on corruption in the government hospitals.
He directed authorities that there shouldn't be any corruption in government hospitals and warned that he will not tolerate corruption in hospitals. He told them to display toll-free numbers in all the hospitals to receive complaints regarding corruption in the hospitals. During the health department review meeting at Tadepalli Camp Office, he directed the officials to come up with SOP (Standard Operation Procedures) to put an end to corruption.
He advocated the need for the family doctor system to be implemented perfectly and PHCs and Village Clinics to coordinate and operate perfectly. He directed IAS officers should play a key role in filling the vacancies in medical and health departments and there shouldn't be any vacant posts for more than four weeks. He asked authorities to ensure that everyone gets quality treatment under the family doctor system.
He directed authorities to issue Arogyasri Cards to everyone including the newborn and issued orders to turn new upcoming medical colleges into a force to reckon with.
