Pawan, CBN opposes volunteers for voter verification. CM Jagan's decision regarding volunteers and volunteers system is raking huge controversy with each passing day ahead of the elections. Jana Sena Chief Pawan kalyan had been attacking volunteers system and held them responsible for the data breach and also women trafficking. He said he will also complain against them with the Union Government and intelligence agencies.
In the meantime, Pawan questioned the use of volunteers for the voter verification. He came up with the following flurry of posts. He posted “The truest sense of upholding democracy is to ensure fairness and transparency in the entire election process starting from preparation of voter list to the declaration of the result,”
He continued “Despite the Election Commission’s clear instructions, several volunteers across AP are being part of the door-to-door survey process along with YCP Booth Level Officers. This is a violation of the Constitution & blatant abuse of power by the YCP in Andhra Pradesh.”
Even Chandra Babu Naidu and TDP decided to complain to EC regarding the volunteers. TDP wrote a letter which complained about the participation of village/ward volunteers in the verification of the voters’ list, stating it was in violation of the CEO’s instructions. They sought remedial action.
