Vijaya Sai Reddy exposes Yellow Media on debts. It is known that opposition parties comprising of Chandra Babu's TDP and Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena have been trying to paint AP CM Jagan and YSRCP government as the villain. They are coming out with the propaganda that the AP turned into a debt state under Jagan's rule.
In the midst of all this, during the discussion in Parliament, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman replying to a query raised by BRS MP Nama Nageswara Rao gave a written statement saying the debts of the Andhra Pradesh government have reached Rs 4.42 lakh crores. Telangana state’s debt is Rs 3,66,306 crores. This means that under the YSRCP regime CM Jagan only received only about Rs 1.77 lakh crores of debt.
This exposes the lies of the pro-TDP and Yellow media which has been propagating that 4 lakh crores in debts have been incurred. Even after the Finance Minister's reply, Yellow Media came up with the news that the YSRCP government received Rs 4 lakh crores in debt.
In the midst of all this, YSRCP MP Vijaya Sai Reddy exposed them with the following post. He posted "The opposition who spread bad propaganda that the state is in debt should see the answer given by the Union Finance Minister in the Parliament and bring about a transformation. As of March 2019, the state has a debt burden of Rs.2,64,451 crore, but only Rs.1,77,991 crore has been taken for development works in these four years. Isn't it evil to advertise 10 lakh crore debt?"
