It is known that Congress-led opposition alliance INDIA sent notices to speaker Om Birla for a no-confidence motion against PM Modi and the ruling NDA government regarding the ongoing violence in Manipur and alleging that the Modi government is not showing interest in having a discussion on the issue in the parliament.
Many waited to know the stand of AP CM Jagan's YSRCP in the parliament. Already YSRCP MP Vijaya Sai Reddy questioned the motive of the opposition parties in introducing the no-confidence motion while the Union government is willing to discuss the issue. He also said that the opposition is running from the house and playing to the galleries.
Once again, Vijaya Sai Reddy came up with a powerful counter to opposition parties regarding the no-confidence motion. Revealing the party line, he posted "How does bringing a no-confidence motion help the country? Trying to weaken the central government at this time of disturbance in Manipur and 2 hostile neighbors is not in the national interest. It is the time to work together not against each other. The @YSRCParty"
With YSRCP deciding to support PM Modi in the no-confidence motion, it is a mere formality that the motion will be defeated.
