Is this why JC brothers moved away from Jagan. JC brothers are known for their aggressive nature and firebrand attitude. They have a strong influence in Anantapur for the last five decades. They enjoyed the power in Congress party. JC Diwakar Reddy weilded power as the Minister and as a MLA. However, his brother JC.Prabhakar Reddy confined to business. However after the developments in the state following the bifurcation of Andhra Pradehs in 2024, they came out of the Congress party.
During that time, they planned to join the YSRCP. With JC.Diwakar Reddy's son Pawan Kumar being the friend of CM Jagan, many thought that they would join YSRCP. But surprisingly they joined the TDP and Chandra Babu presented them two tickets and both brothers won from heir constituencies.
However, people still have doubts as to why they did not join CM Jagan's YSRCP. JC. Prabhakar Reddy shared that after walking out of the Congress, they discussed about joining YSRCP and even Vijaya Sai Reddy came and invited them into the party. Howeever Vijaya Sai Reddy came with a rider that they asked them to deposit Rs 1cr as party fund and promised tickets but left the responsibility of winning only onthem.
He said though they were ok to fund during the elections, they are against party deposit and this became a wedge between them and YSRCP.
