Revolt began against Jagan. Former CM Chandra Babu Naidu who is leaving no stone turned to bring his party TDP to power in the coming elections, launched a scathing attack on CM Jagan. He said a revolt has begun against CM Jagan in Pulivendula.
It is known that Chandra Babu is touring the Rayalaseema region to inspect the status of the irrigation projects. Addressing people, Chandra Babu said "TDP had spent Rs 12,000 crore on irrigation projects in Rayalaseema as against the YSRC which spent a meager Rs 2,000 crore. Jagan ruined the Polavaram project "
He added "Senior leader Mareddy Ravindranath Reddy, better known as ‘BTech Ravi, will take on Jagan from Pulivendula in the next elections,” He continued "Jagan Mohan Reddy spent only Rs.2,000 crore for irrigation projects of Rayalaseema while all major works are on hold and he is coming up with new proposals like having a tunnel at Gandikota instead of completion of the pending works",
Chandra Babu boasted "Galeru Nagari and Handri Neeva projects were initiated during the TD term as the party’s founder N.T. Rama Rao made wanted to do justice for Rayalaseema.If the Polavaram works were completed, every tail-end area in Rayalaseema would have been getting sufficient water for irrigation."
