Jagan for poor, CBN for rich. It is known that the AP High Court put an interim stay on the allocation of houses to the poor in the R5 zone in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. This came as a shock to CM Jagan and the ruling YSRCP. YSRCP is planning to approach the Supreme Court regarding the HC order.
In the midst of all this, government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy speaking to scribes said while Jagan is for poor, CBN is for the rich. He said "Under this, 1.46 crore families were contacted during the Jagananna Suraksha programme across 26 districts. The CM aims to conduct this mass outreach programme twice per annum to serve the public," and added "In this, Jagan stands for the poor and Chandrababu for the wealthy."
He added "We are not setting up factories like ‘Bhopal UC Gas’ in Amaravati. We are giving houses to the poor. What is wrong with it? There is no society without the poor. SC, ST, BC, minority and other poor should live in Amaravati. Chandrababu is fighting against the poor. We will go to the Supreme Court against the HC interim stay on the construction of houses for the poor in Amaravati,"
He said the work at Amaravathi is on the fast-track and revealed "The work is going on fast track for Amaravati connectivity."He shared "There are several institutions in Amaravati in which students are outsiders. They are not farmers. Farmers gave their property voluntarily and in return they got plots. The Jagan government is developing Amaravati better than ever."
