It is known that Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu has been sentenced to 14 days in remand and he is serving the same at the Rajahmundry central jail.
In this connection, TDP's social media handle shared a Twitter post earlier today and in this photo, we see Mahatma Gandhi walking CBN into the jail. The post is intended to portray CBN as a follower of Gandhi and imply that he is innocent.
"As Fidel Castro said that if criminals are the rulers, the righteous will languish in jails.. Even if Psycho Jagan sends TDP leader Chandrababu to jail with his political faction, who has honestly supported the progress of the state and public welfare, Babu will come out like a washed pearl. Because he is a Gandhian and a lover of democracy. An infallible leader of fire." TDP captioned the post.
This post is now drawing severe criticism and it has indeed landed CBN in a troll fest. There are a hole lot of sarcastic messages under this Twitter post as netizens have started to troll and mock CBN over the same.
"It is a shame to see a man who is accused of looting public's money amounting to Rs 371 crores getting compared to Gandhi. With senseless posts like these, TDP will go on to lose even the 23 MLA seats it won in 2019. They will be left with mere zero if they don't change their stance" a netizen commented under this post.
