Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu has been serving remand in the Rajahmundry central jail for the last 11 days and now, the TDP leaders have started to emphasise the same in the assembly session today.
TDP MLAs, including Nandamuri Balakrishna and shockingly enough, even YCP MLA Undavalli Sridevi have protested at the speaker's podium.
Now, the speaker has suspended the TDP MLAs for their unnecessarily provocative and disrespectful attitude towards the speaker.
Speaker Tammineni expressed his anger on the behavior of TDP members in the Legislative Assembly. Tammineni Sitaram announced that the TDP MLAs who disrespected the position of the Speaker would be suspended for one day.
At the same time, the Speaker gave a ruling that Anagani Sathyaprasad, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy and Payyavula Keshav are suspended till the completion of these assembly meetings.
