Daggubati Purandeshwari was recently appointed as the chief of Andhra Pradesh BJP wing. Ever since, she has been taking TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's side. She is condemning the arrest of CBN at every possible occasion.
Today, in a new public meeting, Purandeshwari is deceiving the people of AP through the arrest of CBN to create an illusion for the next elections.
In response, YCP is stating that Purandeshwari is desperately trying to save the face of her brother-in-law Chandrababu Naidu. This is being seen as a desperate attempt from BJP AP wing president to save Chandrababu who himself is caught in scams.
While it wouldn't have been relevant if Purandeshwari made these comments in personal capacity, her being in the AP BJP wing president post and making such comments has caught the attention.
Pawan Kalyan has already lost leaders like Kethamreddy Vinod Reddy and Kalyan Dileep Sunkara due to the alliance with CBN. And now, BJP is treading a similar route and they too might have to pay the price sooner or later, commented a political analyst.
