BJP AP wing president Daggubati Purandeshwari is doing more bad than good to the party with her relationship with TDP. As a result, BJP is being termed as TDP's B team. This is a disaster at a time when TDP itself is facing existential crisis.
In this contest, Purandeshwari has secured a meeting with Amit Shah and took Nara Lokesh along with her. This meeting became a hot topic in AP politics.
"Lokesh elaborately explained to Amit Shah ji about the vindictiveness of the state government and leaders at the helm of affairs. Now those who blame the Centre need to reply as to why Amit Shah ji would give an appointment to Lokesh if the BJP was behind the arrest!" Purandeshwari tweeted a short while ago.
"Met with the Hon’ble Union Home Minister @AmitShah Ji and apprised him of the blatant misuse of state machinery by YSRCP Govt in Andhra Pradesh, the regime revenge against Hon’ble @ncbn Garu, and the appalling condition in which he has been lodged in prison where his life is under threat." Lokesh tweeted after the meeting.
This is a disaster for AP BJP as bringing out CBN who is facing numerous corruption charges will taint their own image before the coming elections.
