TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has this habit of drawing exaggerated claims and conclusions on every occasion as if it has happened for the first time. Now he seems to be doing again what he is always best at.
Wherever he goes – Kurnool, Godavari districts or Vijayanagaram, his common expression is ‘I have never seen so many crowds in my lifetime. This is an indication that Jagan Reddy is on the way out’. Babu has been in politics for more than 40 years and TDP has enough cadre to fill roads and stadiums whenever there is a meeting.
Even earlier, or as recent as the 2019 elections, this was the same expression that huge crowds coming to see him is a new record. Then too, Babu said this hints about his re-election and we know what actually happened. Maybe it's high time for him to be a little grounded and not make big claims as if he is making a debut in politics just now.
