MLA and former Minister, Perni Nani reminded volunteers of the kind of insensitive remarks that the TDP-JSP alliance had made in the past. He added that those would be remembered by the volunteers.
Perni Nani, speaking to the media said, “Chandrababu Naidu finished baiting people from different castes, and general public in an use and throw manner. Now, he is baiting for volunteers, and he is said to give a Rs.10,000 salary. In the last four years, Naidu mentally tortured Volunteers, and accused them of many things, such as trafficking, kidnapping, theft, selling the data among others.”
He further said, “Volunteers are the main bridge in YSRCP governance, where they took the welfare measures to the public. Now, TDP, with their dummy organisation, stopped volunteers from giving pensions and created a ruckus in the state. As the people question this move, they are taking a U-turn and offering an increased salary. Volunteers are taking up this work as a service and they are not sold for money like Pawan Kalyan.”
