Election campaigning in Andhra Pradesh has taken an ugly turn with Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Tanethi Vanitha allegedly being attacked by Telugu Desam Party(TDP) henchmen while campaigning in Gopalapuram constituency of East Godavari district late at night on Tuesday.
The incident occurred when the Minister was returning to her night halt at ex-ZPTC Subrahmanyam’s house in Nallajerla. TDP goons ALLEGEDLY attacked YSRCP’s campaign vehicle and vandalised furniture, and ended up creating a huge ruckus.
Political analysts are of the belief that TDP is reckless as they are anticipating that all women voters will support Jagan overwhelmingly, thereby leading to a TDP rout, which is why they are resorting to such desperate measures.
