Creating Ruckus at Counting Centers Will Lead to Arrests, Warns Andhra EC

Any disturbances at the counting centers during elections will result in immediate arrests and detention, cautioned the State Election Commissioner (SEC).

On Thursday, Mukesh Kumar Meena, the Chief Electoral Officer for Andhra Pradesh, inspected the strong rooms at Krishna University in Machilipatnam. He expressed satisfaction with the election preparations. Additionally, District Election Officer Balaji and other officials provided some suggestions.

The SEC issued stern warnings that anyone causing disturbances or creating chaos at the counting centers will face arrest and detention. He emphasized that the Election Commission will not tolerate any interference or disruptions during the counting process. Strong vigilance measures have been put in place to ensure a smooth and orderly conduct of the elections, stated the State Election Commissioner.
