Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emerged victorious from the Varanasi constituency in Uttar Pradesh, reaffirming his strong electoral mandate. He secured his seat with 612,970 votes, Modi clinched victory with a commanding margin of 152,513 votes.
The electoral victory in Varanasi is significant not only for Modi personally but also for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), reaffirming its strong presence in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, Modi is expected to become the Prime Minister of the nation for his third term, as the BJP is about to win with a lead close to the magic figure.
According to the data provided by the Election Commission, the BJP has officially contested for a total of 441 seats, of which it is currently leading in more than 201 constituencies, while it is already declared won in 38 places and lost in 15 other seats.
