Undavalli Arun Kumar, a former Member of Parliament, has stated that financial crimes should not go unpunished, regardless of who commits them. He has called for punishment for Ramoji Rao, the head of today's organizations, for financial crimes committed in the case of Margadarshi Chit Funds. Rao has claimed that there are mistakes in the balance sheets shown in the case, and that he may not get relief according to law.

Undavalli has been warning about Rao's financial mistakes since 2006, and he believes that if the investigation is done properly, Rao will be in trouble. Undavalli has reminded that even those who are thought to be very big in the country have gone to jail for financial crimes, such as Satyam Ramalinga Raju.

Undavalli says that chit fund companies are springing up like mushrooms in the country and fraud is happening in many places. He questions why people like Ramoji Rao are not bound by the law, and says that everyone is equal under the law. Undavalli argues that if someone commits a wrongdoing, the police should inquire about it, and there should be no special treatment for anyone, even if they are a media leader. Undavalli has asked Rao to admit that he made a mistake and obey the law. He says that if no one complains about their chit funds, it does not mean that the mistake is right.

Undavalli believes that the YCP is filing a case against Rao because they are writing anti-news on YCP everyday, and they would not do it if there was no wrongdoing in the case. He argues that because Rao has committed financial crimes, he should not be left unpunished. He believes that in the past, only big people went to jail for these crimes, but now we have to wait and see what happens in Rao's case.
