When the Telangana agitation was at its peak the chief minister was Kiran Kumar Reddy and he did his best to stop it. However, that didn't work out and eventually he formed a party of his own. But that didn't work and subsequently he joined Congress but could not sustain for long.
Later, he disappeared suddenly for a long time only to resurface recently. This time, Kiran joined the BJP and since then many are trying to figure out what his next move will be. Well, some inside sources are now saying that Kiran might just get into a tussle with none other than TPCC President Revanth Reddy.
Buzz is that Kiran is eyeing the Malkajgiri constituency for the upcoming elections and he is aspiring to take the MP ticket. If that happens, he would have to fight against Revanth who has a stronghold there. As such, Kiran grew up in Hyderabad and has a good network of his own.
What remains to be seen is whether BJP would have the trust on Kiran and give him the chance to contest in such an important place. The political experts are saying this must happen as it is going to be a very interesting tussle. For now, the odds are favoring Revanth a lot but if Kiran can break that jinx it would cause a major upset among the Congress circles.
