With increasing amenities, affordable living, Hyderabad has become a most sought after place for people across the nation to live in. However, with positives come negatives too. There is a huge rise in traffic issues leading to many accidents of pedestrians too in the city, especially in the Uppal area.
In order to have a save walk, KTR announced a good news for the people for Hyderabad.
He announced on Wednesday that a modern skywalk is being built by the BRS at a cost of Rs 25 crore is all ready to be made open to public.
“A modern Uppal Skywalk in Hyderabad for pedestrians safety being built by #BRS Govt at a cost of Rs 25 crore is getting ready for inauguration shortly,” tweeted KTR.
This skywalk is of 640 metres in length with facilities like lift, escalator. It is designed in a such a way that it will have entry and exit points at six places.
