State Roads and Buildings Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his associates of stealing money from the government in the guise of business connections.
He also demanded that Modi break his silence on the 5G scandal involving his associates.
He said that illegal cases had been filed against people who have questioned him regarding the government's functioning including the case on MLC Kavita. "The ED case itself has become a big joke today," he claims. Vemula further said that the BJP is abusing investigation authorities like as the CBI, ED, and IT for their own gain, and that they are inciting the investigation agencies by not allowing state chief executives to operate. It is claimed that the ED is filing cases but they are not being prosecuted.
He also challenged Modi to break his silence on the 5G scandal involving his friends. "Modi, who had accused corruption in the 2G auction when he was Chief Minister of Gujarat, is now silent on the corruption of Rs 15 lakh crore in the case of 5G," he questioned Modi.
Minister Vemula requested that ED charges be launched against the BJP, which is robbing the whole country in all spheres.
Meanwhile, over 200 youth from the villages of Bhingal, Bada Bhingal, Chengal, Muchkur, Babapur, and Gongoppal joined the BRS party today. The Minister greeted them at the reception by presenting them with a pink scarf. The Minister expressed his delight at the young people's decision to join BRS in large numbers after deciding to be on the side of development.
On the occasion, Vemula addressed the young and the public, saying, "There should be a broad discussion with the youth and friends in the villages, in every house, about the BJP's lousy politics and looting of the country's wealth."
