Telangana state finance minister T. Harish Rao announced on Wednesday the launch of the Gruhalakshmi scheme. He said the scheme would be fully launched by the end of June in Telangana.
Gruhalakshmi is a scheme designed and developed by the Telangana state government to give the poor a subsidy of Rs 3 lakh to build their dream home in order to assist them in erecting a home on their own property. Moreover, the state government will begin providing nutrition kits to 6.8 lakh pregnant women across the state in June. He was speaking at an event in Potharam village in Dubbaka on Wednesday.
Only 261 of the 450 patients in Potharam village received NCD kits from Asha staff and health department representatives. The minister ordered the officials there to give the kits right away to every patient with diabetes and high blood pressure.
Additionally, the minister urged the women to take advantage of the Arogya Mahila programme by going to a hospital in Thimmapur. There was also Zilla Parishad Chairperson V Roja Sharma, Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, and others.
Earlier, in Narayanraopet, Harish Rao gave the family of a TRS employee a check for Rs 2 lakh. Speaking at the event, he claimed that the party membership insurance helped 47 families in the Siddipet constituency alone.
