IT raids on BRS before Amit Shah's visit. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Telangana in a few hours from now. Now ahead of his visit to Telangana, showing off its colors, The Union Government unleashed its agencies on BRS leaders. Income Tax Officials conducted raids on various BRS leaders and they included including MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy and Pailla Shekhar Reddy.
More than 70 IT officials participated in the raids conducted simultaneously at various locations in Telangana. The officials conducted searches at the offices and residences of both these leaders. IT officials raided the house of Prabhakar Reddy at Gachibowli in Hyderabad. Apart from it, they conducted raids at 12 places including the offices and the residence of the Bhongir MLA at Kothapet in the city.
Vanitha Reddy, wife of Sekhar Reddy is the MD of the various companies that are into Health and Technologies, Main Land Digital Technologies. BRS leaders are claiming the raids to be a witch-hunting and accused the Union government headed by PM Modi of trying to scare the BRS-led government in the state from taking a stand against PM Modi.
They pointed out that PM Modi is unleashing IT, ED, and CBI on BRS leaders only after KCR turned his party into a national party and decided to take on PM Modi.
