Sheikh Dasthagiri who was an accused in YS. Vivekananda Reddy murder case later turned approver and this created a sensation across the state of Andhra Pradesh. According to the latest, he landed in trouble as police booked a case against him for assaulting a minor boy. The incident happened in Pulivendula, Andhra Pradesh.
Police received a complaint from a woman who alleged that Dasthagiri kidnapped her son and his residence in Jayamma Colony in Kadapa district's Pulivendula town. Later the cops shifted him to the Government Area Hospital. After knowing the acts of Dasthagiri, many turned angry and the relatives and family members of the boy and functionaries of the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) reached the hospital.
They demanded justice for the victim's family and strict action against Dasthagiri. According to the woman named Kullayyama, she and her husband had taken a debt of Rs 40000 from Dasthagiri six months back and they have been repaying the interest to him every week. When they failed to pay the interest for the last week, Dasthagiri abducted her son and tortured him at his house.
The couple also accused Dasthagiri also threatened them and said they will face serious consequences if they complain to anyone.
