ED targets prominent medical groups in Telangana. Once again the Enforcement Directorate is making waves in the state of Telangana. According to the latest, ED targeted prominent medical groups in Telangana. ED conducted raids simultaneously at 15 different locations and the medical colleges include Minister Mallareddy’s medical college, Ananda Rao Medical College, Medicity Medical College, Medchal, and Sangareddy MNR College. Searches are also ongoing at SVS Medical College and Kamineni medical college in Mahabubnagar and Rangareddy districts.
ED is also conducting searches at the residences of the MD and chairman of the Kamineni group including Shashidhar Kamineni, Vasundhara Kamineni, Suryanarayana Kamineni, and Gayathri Kamineni. ED is conducting its searches for alleged money laundering across the state. Furthermore, investigations are underway at the Prathima corporate office located in Film Nagar. The ED officials have divided into two teams to conduct further investigations. They are questioning financial irregularities related to the Prathima Group.
Earlier when Home Minister Amit Shah was expected to visit Khammam district, Telangana, ED became active and conducted raids on various BRS leaders. BRS leaders attacked the Union government headed by the BJP targeting them for political gains and pressuring them to sing their tune rather than oppose them. Along with the ED, even CRPF force entered the state and inside talk is ED will be conducting raids in Nalgonda, Rangareddy, Mahbubnagar, Medchal, and Khammam districts.
