For long rumours have been spreading thick and fast that YS. Sharmila will be merging her YSRTP with the Congress party and fighting the elections together in Telangana and also she would be made in charge of the Congress Andhra Pradesh chief.
Her secret meeting with Congress leader, DK. Shiva Kumar who mastered the Congress victory in Karnataka and also her wishes to Rahul Gandhi on his birthday intensified the rumors. Rumors also spread that Sharmila will announce the merger of her party with Congress on July 8, after paying her respects and tributes to her father YSR at Idupluapaya, on his birth anniversary.
In the midst of all this, Sharmila came up with a strong take on YSRTP and Congress merger.
