KTR gets shock. Amit Shah cancels the meeting. Telangana IT Minister KTR is currently in Delhi and is meeting various Union Ministers in his bid to get funds to complete the projects undertaken by the BRS government in the state. KTR in Delhi met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and is on a mission to meet other ministers.
However, all eyes are on his proposed meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. During these four years, though KTR met all Union Ministers at one time or the other, he did not meet Amit Shah. This meeting assumed significance as rumors spread that CM KCR and the ruling BRS in the state changed their stand and is going soft on BJP at the center. Opposition parties also flayed KCR saying that he is on a mission to save his daughter Kavitha from the liquor scam.
This also resulted in huge infighting in BJP and leaders like Eatele Rajender, and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy decided to change the party and join BJP. BJP high command invited them to Delhi and Union Minister Kishan Reddy was summoned immediately. Right after the KTR's meeting with Amit Shah got canceled.
While some say, Amit Shah canceled a meeting with KTR as Eatela and Komatireddy impressed on Amit Shah that it would send wrong signals to meet KTR as the investigation is going on regarding Kavitha's liquor scam, others say Amit Shah canceled the meeting as he was busy with other activities. Inside talk is Amit Shah canceled the meeting as he got busy addressing the burning issue, the law and order problem in Manipur.
