Harish Rao attacks T-Governor. Minister Harish Rao attacked Telangana Governor Tamilisai and said she is acting as the BJP worker and as its official spokesperson. Harish Rao inaugurated the new office of the Commissioner of Family and Child Welfare at Koti and later addressed the scribes took strong exception to Governor Tamilisai's comments on Osmania Hospital.
Tamilisai said the condition at the Osmania Hospital is alarming and asked the Telangana government to take steps and act on its promise to construct the new building. She posted on a Twitter account named Justice for OGH. In this post, photos of the problems faced by the patients in the hospital were added in the tweet. Along with this, the governor also attached photos of the letter issued by the joint association for the construction of the new building to the tweet. She posted “When every state applied for new med colleges under PMSSY scheme Telangana failed to apply in time as stated by Union Health Ministry.” (sic)
Harish Rao took a strong exception and said "started 25 medical Colleges without the support of the Centre. It is a history in medical Colleges. Governor did not appreciate the good things. Osmania and Gandhi are doing organ transplants. The governor did not say a word of appreciation for the doctors. The NITI Ayog appreciated Basti Dawakhanas, which decreased the number of outpatients in hospitals. These Basti Dawakhanas have decreased the load in Osmania, Gandhi, and Niloufer."
He added “Of 157 medical colleges approved by Centre, Telangana got none. The union government discriminated and deceived Telangana in all three phases of allotment of colleges,” and pointed out Telangana tops in the country with 19 MBBS seats per one lakh population. Instead of hurling abuses, the Centre and the Governor should appreciate the State government for opening eight medical colleges in a single day,”
