BRS to Boycott PM Modi's Warangal Visit. PM Modi will be visiting Hyderabad and visit Warangal and announce various projects on 8 July 2023. Reports are coming that PM Modi will inaugurate projects worth Rs 6100crs. The projects include national highway projects worth over Rs 5,550 crore and work to upgrade the 68-km-long Karimnagar--Warangal section of NH-563 from existing two lanes to a four-lane configuration apart from the foundation stone of the railway manufacturing unit in Kazipet.
Minister KTR speaking to scribes, said that BRS and CM KCR will be boycotting PM Modi's visit. Revealing the reason behind his decision, KTR said “With what face is the Prime Minister visiting Warangal when he has not yet fulfilled the promise of getting a tribal university to the district?” He pointed out "No steel factory has been set up Bayyaram Steel Plant in the Mahabubabad district as promised by the center,"
He said “People in Telangana don’t believe in the PM who has spread hatred among people in the name of religion. We are boycotting the Prime Minister’s visit completely,” He attacked TPCC chief Revanth Reddy saying " Revanth is an ‘RSS’ (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) man who was soft towards BJP and criticised only BRS".
