KCR's reverse poaching to surprise all. Telangana CM KCR is known for his master strategies and catch his opponents off guard. Of late, Congress has been poaching prominent leaders from various parties and this is giving jitters. Already many from the ruling BRS joined Congress and this is becoming a headache for the party. Leaders like Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Jupally Krishna Rao quit BRS and joined the Congress. With reports of many BRS leaders planning to join Congress, KCR decided to take his rivals' headon.
It is coming out that KCR is planning reverse poaching and directed all his party leaders and cadre to look for other party leaders and intensify efforts to make them join BRS. As such Y Narotham, senior Congress leader from the Zaheerabad Assembly constituency, joined the BRS in the presence of KCR at Pragati Bhavan.
This happened with the intense efforts of Minister Harish Rao. KCR's reverse poaching is counter to Congress' Ghar Wapsi program.
KCR feels that if he does not pay attention to Congress tactics, the morale of BRS and its leaders will come down. KTR already finalized the list of candidates from the Congress party who will join the BRS and announced dates when they will join the party.
