Sharmila hellbent on her constituency. Even though rumors have been going on over Sharmila, YSRTP president merging her party with the Congress, there is no official confirmation regarding the same. Contrary to the expectations that Sharmila will announce her party's merger with the Congress on his dad YSR's birth anniversary which was celebrated a couple of days back, nothing came out.
In the meantime, Sharmila surprised all by announcing her constituency. For long rumors spread that Sharmila is keen to contest from Khammam. Now speaking to scribes, Sharmila said she will contest from Paleru constituency from Khammam district. This shows that Sharmila is in no mood to relinquish her dream of ruling Telangana and concentrate on Andhra Pradesh even if she merges her party with Congress. It is known that Congress wants to make her the APCC chief and lead the campaign in AP pitting her against her brother, AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Sharmila during her interaction accused her opponents of plotting her defeat but added that she is a tigress and a tiger will take on another tiger only. She remembered her yatra in Khammam and said that once voted to power she vowed to bring back the YSR rule in Telangana.
