Revanth claims loan waiver victory. TPCC chief Revanth Reddy is all over Telangana CM KCR and the ruling BRS government. Revanth Reddy who is known for his aggressive nature of late has been trying to expose the mistakes and anti people policies of CM KCR to increase the anti BTS sentiment among the people.
It is known the CM KCR decides to fast track Rs 1 crores loan waiver to the farmers and directed the officials to ensure all gets the loan waiver by September 1. He said financial crunch delayed the process of loan waiver and promised the people that it will not happen in future.
These developments made Revanth Reddy saying that it was Congress party's intense pressure and relentless fight was behind CM KCR taking a decision on loan waiver to farmers. He said "Congress delegations had repeatedly met the chief secretary, submitting representations on behalf of farmers and organising protests at various locations"
He added "The government's decision to announce the loan waiver was a direct result of the Congress’ agitations. The government should also consider waiving off all interests on loans taken by farmers". He warned the government against tampering with the loan waiver and if they do so, Congress will start it's agitation once again.
