Navdeep reacts to drugs case reports: 'Truth is dangerous'

Actor Navdeep Pallapolu of 'Arya 2' and 'Chandamama' fame has been named by media reports in connection with a drugs case in Hyderabad. As per Navdeep, the truth is not only rare but also dangerous. In his social media retort on Saturday, Navdeep suggested that the media has been reporting about him without doing due diligence.

"I don't mean to be the slightest bit critical of the media, considering they operate under severe time constraints with not as much intellectual depth. But they can only present the 'bare bones' of a story. The absolute truth is a rare and dangerous commodity. It takes time," he wrote on Twitter.

Navdeep has reportedly been booked under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985. The Telangana High Court has ordered the police not to take any coercive action against him until the coming Tuesday.

Also seen in movies such as 'Ice Cream', 'Baadhshah' and 'Dhruva', Navdeep has been there on OTT as well. 'Masti's' (2020) and 'Newsense' (2023) are noted. He is doing Ravi Teja's 'Eagle'. Soon, he awaits the release of his solo hero movie 'Love, Mouli'. Directed by Avaneendra and starring Pankhuri Gidwani as the heroine, the film is produced by Prashanth Reddy Tatikonda. Nyra Creations is bankrolling it.
