Harish Rao is one of the senior most leaders in BRS and he is regarded as the troubleshooter for the party. KCR often uses Harish to settle the internal disputes in BRS and designated him with the job of handling the local leadership.
However, Harish Rao is often in bad light for his unnecessary comments on Andhra Pradesh. He recently stated that AP is in darkness with power cuts and lack of proper roads. Shortly after, urban floods struck Hyderabad and BRS was exposed for its shallow development.
Now, Harish's pointless talk has come back to affect BRS itself as his comment on Rythu Bandhu has backfired in ways he wasn't expecting. He said farmers in Telangana will rejoice BRS as the Rythu Bandhu money will be credited in their accounts on the 28th of November.
This came after the Election Commission had asked BRS leaders not to refer to the Rythu Bandhu program in public as it is against the code. But Harish missed this crucial technical point and slipped his mouth.
As a result, Harish's comment on Rythu Bandhu has resulted in the EC canceling the program and BRS being deprived of a potential game changer. His bad choice of words on AP had earnt BRS backlash back then, and now, it has resulted in a game changer for BRS(Rythu Bandhu) getting canceled in the last minute.
