TPCC chief and Telangana Congress firebrand leader Revanth Reddy is announced as the CLP leader and he will be taking charge as the new chief minister of the state on the 7th of December.
Telangana Congress leaders are making grand arrangements for the swearing in ceremony of Revanth Reddy and they have already drawn out a list of special invitees for the ceremony.
Interestingly, both Chandrababu Naidu and chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy were invited to the event. The question is if Jagan Mohan Reddy will attend the event.
Though Revanth deferred with TDP and joined Congress, TDP still feels he is their prodigy and own him like anything. In that case, Jagan might decide to give the event a skip. Another reason is that Jagan will have to come face to face with CBN at the event which he wouldn't like.
At the same time, it is important for Jagan to have diplomatic relationships with the neighbouring states so he might well decide to attend the event. And more so, given that he was specially invited for the event. It has to be seen how Jagan will deal with this invitation.
