Indian National Congress workers in Telangana allegedly attacked Vengala Rao Nagar Corporator Dedeepya Rao on Friday. The corporator has filed a complaint at the Madhura Nagar police station, stating that Congress workers first abused her and then attacked her car, damaging its windshield.
According to the reports, the complainant said that the incident occurred while the corporator was campaigning in the Vengala Rao Nagar division as part of the ongoing election campaign. The Congress workers, who were reportedly upset over a previous dispute, launched a verbal attack on the corporator before damaging her car.
It is said that this is not the first time that Congress workers have attacked the corporator, as she had previously faced a similar incident. The corporator has urged the police to take action against the accused.
