Hyderabad BJP MP candidate Madhavi Latha has been one of the most attention-grabbing personalities in the Telangana election spectrum. Her peculiar statements and pro-Hindu stance have earned her a lot of visibility in the recent weeks.
The MP Candidate is now in trouble as an FIR has been filed against her for asking the Muslim voters in the polling booths to remove their burqa to check their faces. This happened while she was strolling through the polling booths and cross checking the faces of Muslim voters with the ID cards they had with them.
"A case is registered on Madhavi Latha in Malakpet Police Station under sections 171C, 186, 505(1)(c) of IPC and Section 132 of the Representation of the People Act." The media communication from the Hyderabad collector read on this matter
