In a recent development, the Rouse Avenue Court has extended the judicial remand of MLC Kavitha, who stands accused in the Delhi liquor scam case, until June 3. The court's decision came after the end of the judicial custody previously imposed on her by the court in cases registered by both the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
MLC Kavitha was virtually produced in court today, where it was decided to prolong her custody for another 14 days. Earlier, Kavitha along with others including Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia and others was arrested in Delhi Liquor scam on the charges of corruption.
