Former chief minister of Telangana, KCR has come under the pump after the phone tapping case has been spiraling around him. Now former additional DCP, Tirupatanna who got arrested in the phone tapping case has made a shocking revelation.
In a shocking revelation, Tirupatanna, arrested in the phone-tapping case, has confessed that the BRS government deployed counter-intelligence agents to track Kondal Reddy, brother of then Congress President and current Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, during the Kamareddy polls.
Kamareddy had a lot riding on it in the 2023 election campaign as it had KV Ramana Reddy of BJP, KCR himself on BRS's behalf, and Congress's Revanth Reddy in the contest.
As it turned out, KCR used the anti-terrorism wings to gain the information and intelligence reports from the Kamareddy constituency.
But in the end, KCR ended up losing the election anyway as Ramana Reddy won the segment by a margin of 6,700 votes. He defeated both Revanth Reddy and KCR.
