After impressing audiences with 90’s Middle Class Biopic, Aditya Haasan now steps into production, backing director Sai Marthand for the youthful entertainer Little Hearts. Featuring Mauli Tanuj (famous for 90’s Middle Class Biopic) alongside Shivani Nagaram (Ambajipeta Marriage Band), the film also stars Rajeev Kanakala, S.S. Kanchi, Anita Chowdhary, Satya, and others in important roles. Released worldwide by Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati, the film created curiosity with its lively teaser and trailer. Let’s dive into how it fares on screen.
Story
Set in 2015, the film follows Akhil (Mauli Tanuj), an average backbencher whose father, Gopala Rao (Rajeev Kanakala), dreams of turning him into a software engineer. Despite falling short in the EAMCET exam, Akhil is pushed into long-term coaching.
On the other end, Dr. Krishna Rao (S.S. Kanchi) has similar ambitions for his daughter Karthiyayini (Shivani Nagaram), forcing her into repeated long-term batches to become a doctor.
Fate brings Akhil and Karthiyayini together in this grind. While Akhil instantly falls for her and wins her affection, a sudden unexpected twist disrupts their journey. Do they achieve their parents’ dreams? Do they follow their own passions? And will their love withstand family pressures? That’s the heart of Little Hearts.
