Monalisa, who captured everyone's attention through social media with her wide eyes while selling beads at the Kumbh Mela, has become a heroine in Telugu cinema. The film, produced under the Vengamamba Creationers banner with Sai Charan as the hero, has been titled 'Life'. Anjanna is producing the movie, which is being directed by Srinu Kotapati. The 'Life' movie was grandly launched at Prasad Lab in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

The film started with a pooja ceremony led by senior leader Gutta Sukhender Reddy. Senior actor Suresh sounded the clap for the muhurat shot, producer DS Rao switched on the camera, and Sivannarayana was the honorary director.

  • Producer Anjanna stated: "We started the film today, and regular shooting will also commence. 'Life' is a new experiment. I felt that making a film with the girl who gained pan-India popularity by doing a small business at the Kumbh Mela would bring craze. As the director's story, which I liked, was in line with this thought, we selected Monalisa as the heroine. The film's story is based on events taking place in the lives of software employees. I thank all the dignitaries who attended the launch."

  • Lyricist Kasarla Shyam said: "Monalisa and Sai Charan are acting as the hero and heroine in 'Life' under Vengamamba Creationers. Regular shooting has begun today. I am happy that director Srinu Kotapati, who introduced me to the director of 'Chandigadu' and later directed a few films, is making a comeback as a director. I got the opportunity to write lyrics suitable for the scenes as per the story. I am delighted that keyboard player Dinesh is doing the re-recording for this film, and he is providing good tunes. All the technicians, including the dialogue writer, are seniors. This youth-centric film, produced by Anjanna, will bring good recognition to the hero and heroine."

  • Hero Sai Charan commented: "The director told me that I suit the story on the day I met him. 'Life' is being made with a storyline that strongly connects with the youth. It also contains a great message. I extend my thanks to everyone."

  • Senior Actor Suresh mentioned: "Producer Anjanna garu was introduced to me as the distributor of the film 'Dongata'. One day, he called me, said he was making a film, and asked me to play a role. I immediately said okay. Director Srinu also worked in the direction department for a few films I acted in. I am playing a supporting character in this film. The story of 'Life' is set against a software background. I request everyone to give good support to small films."

  • Director Srinu Kotapati shared: "When I narrated the story to Anjanna garu, he liked it and suggested that getting Monalisa's dates would do justice to the story. That's how we contacted her, and she agreed. This is a youth-centric film, and it also contains a wonderful message for the present generation."

  • Monalisa expressed: "I am very happy to come to Hyderabad. I have an indescribable joy in doing a Telugu film. I don't know Telugu now, but I will learn it soon. I believe that the film 'Life', in which I am acting as the heroine, will give a good life to everyone. I thank the director and producers on this occasion."
