Young hero Roshan Kanakala is set to captivate audiences with his second film, 'Mogili 2025.' Directed by National Award winner Sandeep Raj and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Kriti Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, the film has already created a strong buzz with its powerful teaser, songs, and trailer. Following a phenomenal response to its premieres, the movie is set for a worldwide release on December 13th.

A Pure and Intense Story
Q: What can you tell us about the story of Mogili?
A: This is a pure and innocent love story. Director Sandeep has designed the screenplay to be so racy that it won't bore the audience for a single moment. It’s an honest love story beautifully executed. The narrative features all kinds of emotions—comedy, action, and romance—all written in a very organic and genuine way.
Q: What is the core conflict?
A: Mogili is ready to do anything for his love. The story revolves around the obstacles faced by his love story and the kind of challenges he faces from the antagonist, Christopher Nolan. Mogili is a character that everyone will connect with and relate to.
Choosing the Right Script
Q: You chose this story after Bubble Gum. What special precautions did you take?
A: I was looking for a story that wouldn't bore the audience for a single moment once they came to the theaters, and that’s when Sandeep came with this script. This is a story that must be experienced in theaters.
Q: What is the justification for the title Mogili?
A: We decided on this title right when we conceived the story. It is a story set in a forest backdrop, and the title perfectly suits the hero's character. It also aids the core love story.
The Forest Challenge
Q: Was shooting in a forest background challenging?
A: Practically, there were some difficulties, but I enjoyed every bit of it. I did the work with passion and love, so the whole experience was fun. Sixty percent of the shooting took place in the forest. All the locations you see in the film are real. After this movie, we feel deeply connected to the forest.
Family, Mentors, and Co-Stars
Q: What kind of suggestions do you get from your parents (Sumayya and Kanakala)?
A: My dad and I always have a discussion regarding acting, and I talk to my mom as well. I always wish for discussions to happen. They give me necessary suggestions, and they gave some for this film too, which worked out very well. Since I was in a cinema atmosphere from a young age, I developed a love for cinema. I don't feel any pressure in this; I am enjoying this journey and learning every single thing.
Q: How was the combination with Bandi Saroj Garu?
A: He perfectly synced with the story and performed that character brilliantly. Our scenes together are fantastic.
Q: How was your combination with Harsha?
A: Harsha played a very impactful character in this film. His role is crucial to the story. We developed a genuine friendship that worked out beautifully on screen.
Music and Chemistry
Q: Tell us about Kaala Bhairava’s music.
A: Kaala Bhairava has given amazing music. The music is in the range of what Keeravani Garu gives Rajamouli Garu for the background score. The bond between Sandeep and Bhairava resulted in even more amazing tracks. He elevated the film to another level with his music.
Q: About Heroine Sakshi?
A: She is a very good actress and even learned sign language for the film. Our chemistry was essential for the story to connect with the audience, and that chemistry has worked out beautifully. The entire film team worked like a family.
Premiere Response and Memorable Moments
Q: You had a celebrity premiere show; what was the response?
A: Everyone liked it a lot. Sree Vishnu Garu spoke very highly about the film. Prominent people like Sai Rajesh Garu and SKN Garu attended. Everyone who watched genuinely liked the movie and gave positive feedback. We are very happy.
Q: How many memorable scenes are there?
A: The entire film will be memorable. There are some scenes I personally enjoyed and believe the audience will definitely enjoy. The interval and pre-interval blocks are highly engaging. The pre-climax and climax are also amazing and will be remembered forever.
Q: Tell us about the horse riding sequence.
A: There is a horse riding sequence near the pre-interval. It’s an emotional sequence that the audience will surely enjoy. I loved the process. Getting to know an animal is a surprising process; when I was acting, the horse was acting too, which was astonishing to me.
Future Projects and Gratitude
Q: How was the Mogili journey?
A: Director Sandeep and I became very close on this journey; we now know what is in each other's hearts. We experienced roller-coaster emotions for this film. As an actor, he brought me an amazing story. The film has come out wonderfully.
Q: About Producer TG Vishwa Prasad Garu?
A: Vishwa Prasad Garu supported my first film, Bubble Gum. He loved the story of Mogili and supported it greatly from Day 1. He took so much care. He is the reason the film has become such a big production.
Q: Your upcoming projects?
A: I have two projects lined up. One is in pre-production, an intense love story. The other is a romantic comedy. We will announce the details of those films soon.
