Shobhan Babu Holds a Permanent Place in the Hearts of the Audience: Murali Mohan at 'Soggadu' Golden Jubilee Curtain Raiser
Senior actor Murali Mohan stated that Natabhooshana Shobhan Babu holds a special place as both an actor and a person in the hearts of his fans.
To mark the 50th anniversary of Shobhan Babu's movie 'Soggadu,' Suresh Productions and the Akhila Bharata Shobhan Babu Seva Samithi are organizing a Golden Jubilee celebration in Hyderabad on December 19th. On the same day, Suresh Productions will also re-release the film.
In this context, a Golden Jubilee Curtain Raiser event was held at Ramanaidu Studio in Hyderabad.
Murali Mohan's Speech
Senior actor Murali Mohan, who participated in the event, said, "While producer Atluri Poornachandra Rao gave me my first opportunity, Dasari Narayana Rao encouraged me, and it was Shobhan Babu who invited me to join the film industry. I can never forget these three people in my life. I also produced a film with Shobhan Babu called Mugguru Mithrulu. He was a synonym for discipline. Many like me were inspired by him.
"I offered him a blank check for a key role in the film Athadu made under our banner, but he did not accept. He told me then that he had decided not to do other roles to maintain his name as a 'handsome actor.'
"It has been 17 years since he physically left us. Before that, he had not acted for 13 years. The fact that his fans are still organizing good programs and remembering Shobhan Babu even after 30 years shows the love and respect they have for him."
Producer D. Suresh Babu's Speech
Producer and head of Suresh Productions, D. Suresh Babu, said, "The film 'Soggadu,' released in 1975, brought great name and financial success to our company. We are re-releasing this film using today's technology for sound. We are also continuing the process of converting our company's films into AI."

Producer Kaikala Nageswara Rao recalled that he had produced the mass films Adavi Raja and Iddaru Dongalu with Shobhan Babu, who was known as a class hero, and scored a hit.
