The upcoming Indian animated film Kiki & Koko, designed as an edutainment experience, is set to blend entertainment with human values, aiming to resonate with children and adults alike. Presented by Inika Studios, the film is produced by Dharani and directed by P. Narayanan, with child artiste Srinika voicing the lead character Koko. Meena Chabria, serving as the CEO of the project, revealed that the film emphasizes real-life morals rather than fantasy heroes.

Following the success of Indian animated hits like Maha Avatar Narasimha, Kiki & Koko continues the momentum by offering a value-driven, heartfelt narrative. The movie highlights the everyday lessons of kindness, respect, gratitude, and empathy, making it relatable to modern audiences.

The teaser for the film was unveiled at a press meet held at Prasads Preview Theatre, Hyderabad, where the creators shared their vision for using animation as a medium to teach emotional intelligence.

Cast and Crew Insights

Child artist Srinika, who voices Koko, spoke about the joy of being part of the project.

“Kiki is my best friend in the movie. I’ve always loved animation, and acting in Kiki & Koko made me really happy,” she said, adding that she dreams of becoming an actor when she grows up.

Creative Director Gokul Raj Bhaskar, with two decades of experience in animation, noted:

“Many animated films focus on fantasy, but Kiki & Koko explores real life and human emotions. It’s not about superheroes — it’s about real children and real feelings.”

Director P. Narayanan emphasized that the film aims to counter the rising influence of violence on children.

“We want to show the beauty of being good — loving yourself, helping others, and showing gratitude. Kiki & Koko is about learning humanity through simplicity,” he explained, adding that the film may expand into a full series in the future.

CEO Meena Chabria elaborated on the motivation behind the project:

“Instead of fantasy worlds, we chose to show real-life lessons that children can observe, learn, and practice. Kiki & Koko teaches manners, conversation, and positive behaviour. It’s a film for kids, parents, and anyone young at heart,” she said.
She also revealed plans to release exclusive merchandise and educational products under their children’s brand Color Pencil.

Producer Dharani concluded,

Kiki & Koko aims to show that goodness, empathy, and realism can still inspire audiences. Our goal is to reach kids through heart and storytelling.”
