On the occasion of Mega Prince Varun Tej’s birthday, the makers of his highly anticipated 15th film (#VT15) have unveiled a thrilling title glimpse that has set the internet on fire. Titled 'Korean Kanakaraju' (KOKA), the film is a grand, high-budget collaboration between UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment, directed by the talented Merlapaka Gandhi.

Blending horror, comedy, and intense action with a unique cross-cultural twist, the film bridges the gap between Anantapur and South Korea, promising a cinematic experience never seen before in Telugu cinema.

The Glimpse: From Comedy to Carnage

The glimpse starts on a humorous yet tense note, featuring comedian Satya being brutally interrogated by Korean police. Satya, in his signature style, claims he is just a professional photographer from Penukonda, Anantapur.

However, the vibe shifts instantly when Ritika Nayak enters, clarifying to the cops: "He isn't the one you're looking for... You are looking for Kanakaraju."

What follows is a descent into madness:

  • The Atmosphere: The screen fills with blood, a haunting full moon, and swarms of bats.

  • The Entry: Varun Tej makes a grand entrance wielding a glowing sword, leading to a sequence of absolute carnage.

  • The Twist: Sitting atop a table with an intense, haunting smile, Varun Tej delivers a chilling line in Korean: "I am back."

A Complete Transformation for Varun Tej

Varun Tej has undergone a massive physical transformation for this role. His look is rugged, sharp, and carries an screen presence that perfectly suits the "KOKA" persona. While Ritika Nayak adds a spark to the proceedings, Satya’s comic timing provides the perfect setup for the high-intensity payoff.

The Technical Powerhouse

  • Direction: Merlapaka Gandhi seems to have mastered a new narrative style, seamlessly blending horror and action with his trademark wit.

  • Music: S. Thaman delivers a thumping background score that guarantees goosebumps, elevating the intensity of the title reveal.

  • Cinematography: Manoj Reddy Katasani’s visuals are grand, capturing the stark contrast between the rustic Penukonda vibes and the sleek Korean backdrop.

The glimpse has laid a solid foundation for a wild and experimental film. With its unique premise and Varun Tej’s powerhouse performance, Korean Kanakaraju is already one of the most talked-about projects of the year.
